Delete Your Account in the App

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the SideStall app:

1. Open the app and go to Profile
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
3. Type DELETE to confirm
4. Tap Delete account in the confirmation dialog

Deletion is immediate. Your account is deactivated, all your stalls are closed, and your login is removed. The action cannot be undone.

You can't delete your account while you have active orders. Let those complete (or cancel them) before deleting.

If You Can't Access the App

If you've uninstalled the app, can't sign in, or otherwise can't use the in-app flow, send an email to support@sidestall.au with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Please include the email address associated with your SideStall account so we can verify your identity and locate your data.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently delete the following data associated with your account:

• Your account and login credentials
• Profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
• Stall listings and product listings you created
• Reviews you submitted
• Messages and conversations
• Location history and GPS data
• Favourites and saved stalls
• Authentication credentials and linked sign-in providers (Google, Apple)
• Push notification tokens and device registrations
• Category preferences and badges

What Data May Be Retained

In certain circumstances, we may retain limited data after account deletion:

• Anonymised data: We may retain anonymised, non-identifiable data for analytical purposes (e.g. aggregate usage statistics). This data cannot be linked back to you.
• Legal obligations: We may retain certain records where required by Australian law or regulation, or where necessary to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or protect our legal rights.
• Financial records: Order history and payout records may be retained in anonymised form as required for tax reporting, payment dispute resolution, and audit compliance under Australian law.

Expected Timeframe

When you delete your account in the app, your login is removed and your stalls are closed immediately. Personal information stored across our systems is deleted or anonymised within 30 days, in line with our Privacy Policy.

For the email fallback, we'll process your request and confirm completion within the same 30-day window.
