How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your SideStall account and associated data, please send an email to support@sidestall.au with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Please include the email address associated with your SideStall account so we can verify your identity and locate your data.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently delete the following data associated with your account:

• Your account and login credentials
• Profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
• Stall listings and product listings you created
• Reviews you submitted
• Messages and conversations
• Location history and GPS data
• Favourites and saved stalls
• Authentication credentials and linked sign-in providers (Google, Apple)
• Push notification tokens and device registrations
• Category preferences and badges

What Data May Be Retained

In certain circumstances, we may retain limited data after account deletion:

• Anonymised data: We may retain anonymised, non-identifiable data for analytical purposes (e.g. aggregate usage statistics). This data cannot be linked back to you.
• Legal obligations: We may retain certain records where required by Australian law or regulation, or where necessary to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or protect our legal rights.
• Financial records: Order history and payout records may be retained in anonymised form as required for tax reporting, payment dispute resolution, and audit compliance under Australian law.

Expected Timeframe

We will process your deletion request and permanently remove your data within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.

During this period, your account will be deactivated and no longer visible to other users.
